Who it is for

IT managers and IT teams in small and mid-sized companies, service providers managing fleets of PCs, companies subject to NIS2 that must prove they can restore. What they share: a QNAP NAS and staff who travel.

The problem

When a laptop is stolen or breaks down, restoring it to a different model often fails, and laptops away from the office are almost never backed up. Existing solutions are heavy, ageing, or send your data to a third-party cloud.

Four commitments

Restore with confidence.

A backup is only worth the restore. The whole product is built for that moment: a dead disk, a stolen PC, an employee on the road.

Your PC comes back, even on a different machine.

A full image of the PC, restorable on the same PC or on a different model, with drivers suited to the new hardware. Goal: replace a stolen PC without reinstalling or reconfiguring everything. Coming soon

Protected everywhere, with nothing to do.

Away from the office, the agent opens an encrypted tunnel to the NAS on its own, only for the duration of the backup. Nothing extra to install, no action from the user, no conflict with the company VPN.

Your backups stay with you.

The server is an application installed on your QNAP NAS. No mandatory cloud subscription, no data held by a third party, full control over where backups live and how long they are kept.

Security designed for Zero Trust.

Data encrypted end to end on the PC before it is sent. Each PC has an identity bound to its TPM chip. Administrators sign in with a security key (YubiKey) or Windows Hello, without a password. An image can only be restored from an authorised local network.

How it works

Four steps, then nothing more to do.

  1. Install Revive on your QNAP

The server application installs on the NAS and picks the storage volume.

  2. Deploy the agent to your PCs

Through MSI, Intune, GPO or your device management tool, with an enrolment token. No password to type on the PC.

  3. Set your policies

What (image, folders), when, under which conditions. Backups start on their own, even offline, and catch up on the ones that were missed.

  4. Restore

A file or a folder from the console, in the version you choose; the whole PC soon. Product updates install in one click.
